Many people believe Blacks are disproportionately killed by the police as compared to any other racial or ethnic group. Although Blacks are killed at a rate three times higher than whites, there is actually another group at an even greater disadvantage. In part XII, the audience will learn about this demographic. Although the current level of police killing of unarmed Black and Brown citizens is alarming, viewers will learn that police killings of American citizens is actually down 70% vs. previous years. The question is: Should we celebrate the decline or demand immediate reform? The audience will also gain a better understanding of the devastating toll of police brutality on communities and taxpayers as well as the role the FBI played in destroying Black leadership.
