Empathy is the theme for this segment and viewers will learn how police brutality is impacting Black and Brown communities. Information from Dr. Kanter of the University of Washington will be shared which suggests that white people have the ultimate privilege of changing the channel, clicking on another Facebook post, or being able to separate themselves from police brutality; a luxury Black and Brown citizens do not have. Viewers will be challenged to see their fellow Americans as they see themselves and a powerful experiment in empathy will be conducted.
