We conclude our seventeen-part series by ‘Saying Their Names’. We remember several unarmed individuals who were killed by police, law enforcement, or other white ‘supremacists’. It is a sad truth that although some officers have been charged and convicted for these crimes, others have faced no charges all. From young teenagers and senior citizens to males and females, it would seem Black people are often dehumanized which makes killing them easier and without consequence. We believe that as the number of senseless killings becomes exposed to the American public, they will DEMAND accountability within the criminal justice system and police departments.
